☕ Step-by-step instructions: making coffee

Fill the water tank

• Detach the water tank at the back.
• Fill it with fresh, cold water.
• Place it back onto the machine.

Turn on the machine

• Press one of the two buttons on top (espresso or lungo).
• The buttons will blink: this means the machine is heating up.
• After about 25 seconds, the buttons will stay solid: the machine is ready.

Insert a coffee capsule

• Lift the lever.
• Insert a Nespresso capsule into the slot.
• Push the lever back down: this pierces the capsule and prepares the machine.

Choose your coffee

• Press the small cup for an espresso (40 ml).
• Press the large cup for a lungo (110 ml).
  The coffee will start flowing immediately.

After use

• The used capsule is automatically ejected into the internal container when you lift the lever again.
• Don’t forget to empty the drip tray and capsule container regularly.
